Finder-style incremental search / type-to-select in item lists
I'd like to request a Finder-style incremental search feature for Zotero's item list.
In macOS Finder, when the item list has focus, users can simply start typing and Finder jumps to the first matching item. Continuing to type refines the match (e.g., typing "smi" selects the first item beginning with or matching "smi").
It would be very useful if Zotero supported similar behavior in the center item pane (and possibly the collections pane as well). This would be distinct from the existing Quick Search feature, which filters the library contents. Instead, the goal would be lightweight keyboard navigation that allows users to quickly jump to items without opening a search field or changing the current view.
This feature will come in handy when quickly searching for a paper name. Eg when checking if the paper is in a collection or not.

Edit: well, it just does beginning, not matching and that makes more sense to me as behavior and seems more standard, too.
I had missed that we have to click in the middle panel to activate the feature.
Also I discovered that it works for all fields. Depending on the sorting order.
