Collaborative editing by admins of group library

Hello, my personal library is the basis for a group library that feeds a web interface (Wordpress) via the Zotero API. As one way for users to access the library items, the web page features a word cloud of tags associated with the items. So the tags are very important.

(We do not intend at this time to store pdfs or attachments in the group library. It exists to supply bibliography entries only to the web page users. If the web users want to add the entry to their own reference managers, they will copy it in a process suitable to their setups.)

So far, the group library is working. We have pointed the API to it and formatted the entry display for our Wordpress page. The API also has fed the tag cloud and it looks GREAT.

We are figuring out how to manage the group library entries and tag collection with multiple editors. To do this, I have given specific members Admin privileges.

Re: Collaborative editing -- I just wanted to verify that if the editors add new items and edit existing items, including tags, within the group library, the group library will be stable and dynamically update via the API.

Each editor may wish to maintain a personal Zotero library as well. Let's say a group Admin makes edits in a entry in a shared library (with no attachments). If I drag that entry, which may be a version of an item already in my personal library, to my personal library, are the edits retained?

If the tag collection is edited within the shared library, do the changes in those tags persist in items that I drag to my personal library? Are the tags added to my personal tag collection?

Lastly, since this group library may outlive me, can an admin continue to operate it? If not, how can I designate someone to whom my Zotero account can be transferred?
