Link attachment base directory files not being synced via webdav

Hello,
i recently switched from Zotero 6 to Zotero 9. In Z6 i was using Zotfile to sync my files to an external storage.
I updated to Z9, and can still open all the papers, that are stored in the link attachment base directory. When syncing my library using the build in webdav sync, only files that exist in my data directory are being synced, not the ones in the link directory. Is there a possibility to enable sync also for this directory, or importing the externalized files back into the data directory to sync them?

That's always how this has worked. WebDAV, like Zotero file storage, only syncs stored files.
If you want to use stored files instead of linked files (and I'd typically recommend you do), you can convert linked to stored files by selecting all files --> Tools --> Manage Attachments --> Convert Linked Files to Stored Files

If you do want to keep using your ZotFile/linked Files workflow, there are alternative plugins (ZotMoov, Attanger) that replace ZotFile's move&link files functionality -- but in that case you'll want to sync your linked file base directory using some other file sync service like Dropbox, OneDrive, etc.
