Word crashing when I try to add a citation

[Split from Word for Windows: "Zotero experienced an error updating your document"]

This afternoon I was using Zotero in Word and it completely crashed. I saw the updates on the forum, updated it, and it's still crashing and closing my Word when I try to add a citation. Earlier I didn't lose anything, but now I've lost a part of my writing :(

That appears to be the original, never-updated, Release-to-Manufacturing build of Word 2016 Professional Plus (and seemingly pirated). You should switch to a fully updated version of Word if you want to avoid crashes.
