Patent numbers in the columns fields?

Hi,
this was a very old request (https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/63612/display-patent-number-column) but I think it has never been considered/implemented.
Anyway, is there a way to do it now, with a much smarter version of zotero? Lots of us are working with patents instead of just articles, and this option would make our lives much easier. Also, others patents related filed like priority etc. could be helpful as well-

ps: I ve just found out that the field "number" is actually a "patent number" field! thanks for that. Still looking for the opportunity to add other fields as well.

You'd have to say specifically which other fields you want. Generally Zotero adds fields that a) make some sense to sort in the middle panel and b) exist for a reasonably broad set of item types.
As you have found, some fields have different precise names (i.e. there are "numbers" for various item types with different exact labels like patent no., report no. etc.)
