Upgrade StorageGoogle Docs citation stuck on "{Updating}" — blocks Refresh and bibliography (Zotero 9.0.4, macOS)
Hello,
I'm having a problem with Zotero in an existing Google Doc. One citation displays as "{Updating}" instead of a number, and it blocks both Refresh and Add/Edit Bibliography — the operation either freezes or never completes. The rest of my citations appear as normal numbers.
Details:
Zotero 9.0.4, macOS
Citation style: numeric
The document has around 78 citations
What I've already tried:
Restarted both Zotero and my browser
Tried Chrome, Firefox and Safari — same result in all three
Reinstalled the Zotero Connector
Made a copy of the document (File → Make a copy) and tried again
Citations work fine in a new, empty Google Doc — the problem only happens in this document
Tried deleting the "{Updating}" citation text, but the block remains
