Upgrade StorageDebug ID D298704612: Error when saving PDF using Zotero Connector in Chrome
When trying to save a PDF from a website using Zotero Connector, I receive the following error message: "An error occurred while saving this item. Try again, and if the issue persists see Getting Help for more information."
The Zotero app is open on my laptop, and I've previously saved numerous PDFs using the Connector without issue. I've refreshed the page, closed the Chrome app, and deleted and re-installed the Zotero Connector browser extension.
I'm using:
Zotero - version 9.0.4
Zotero Connector - version 5.0.205
Chrome - version 148.0.7778.179
macOS - version 26.5
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Zotero Desktop
2. Open Chrome
3. Visit https://cdn.websitebuilder.service.justice.gov.uk/uploads/sites/54/2025/12/Modernising-Communications-Offences-2021-Law-Com-No-399.pdf
4. Click the "Save to Zotero (PDF)" button
