Group Library for Short-Term Citation Management
Hello, I've been reading Zotero documentation and online forums for help with the below-described project, but I am writing to ensure my understanding is correct.
I'm helping a post-doc to organize their Zotero files (organizing internal structure, uploading PDFs, adding citation information, etc.) on a short-term basis. She would like me to be able to access her Zotero account and have the changes sync.
From my research, it seems like the best way to do this is to have her create a Group Library for the two of us, have her drag files from her personal library to the "Group Library", and change the settings to allow me to have full edit access. At the conclusion of the project, she would delete the files in her personal library, empty the trash, and then drag the updated and any new files from the group library back to her home library. Then, she would delete the group library. Is this the correct procedure?
My final concern is regarding tags. She has a bunch of previously-created tags for files on her Zotero account that I am hoping to access, modify, and most importantly add to. Does moving files between libraries preserve tags?
Thank you!

What you propose works well in general, but it _will_ break any links of items currently cited in Word (or Google/LO) documents. If that's a concern, this is trickier to do (best option then might be export--> import --> merge duplicates, but that's not entirely lossless.
