In Word citation suffixes in Elsevier Harvard style

When adding references in Word, if two papers have the same first author and year, a letter suffix is added to differentiate them (e.g. Author, 2026a). It assigns the suffixes according to the alphabetical order of the other authors. But I need it to assign them according to the order the citations appear in the document. I am using Zotero 7.0.32. Other forum answers advise to un-select 'keep sources sorted' or use arrows in the Classic View, but these don't seem to work. Any help much appreciated - thanks!
