Dear Zotero Team,
Please consider adding PayPal as a payment method for storage subscriptions. For security and convenience, I prefer to limit how many companies have my direct credit card information. Additionally, updating card details across multiple platforms whenever a card expires is quite a hassle. Given that most online services currently support PayPal, integrating it would greatly improve the checkout experience for your users.

We use Stripe, one of the largest payment processors in the world, for purchases. We don't have access to your credit card information:

We supported PayPal as an option in the past but have no plans to support it again.

(Note that Stripe will automatically update the information for many cards before they expire, so manual updates often aren't necessary.)

Would offering Google Pay and Apple Pay, which are both supported by Stripe, be a viable option?

We support both of them. If you start a payment on a device that supports them you should see the option available.

Thank you. I adjusted my browser settings to "Allow sites to check if you have payment methods saved", which enabled the Google Pay option.
