Sync error???

I can open attachments on my Mac computer as well as my work computer, which is Windows, but they always fail to open on my iPhone app. It keeps saying "The attachment file is not available in the online library. Please check that the file has synced on the device where is was added." I believe the files are appropriately synced because they always open on two different computers, regardless they are added via Mac or Windows. Does anyone have any idea to fix it?
