Cannot save from PsycINFO
Saving from APA PsycINFO on Ovid fails with the Ovid translator.
Environment:
- OS: Windows 11 Version 25H2
- Browser: Vivaldi 7.9.3970.64, Chromium 146.0.7680.226
- Zotero: 10.0-beta.4+03d94060b
- The same problem also occurred with Zotero 7 before upgrading.
- Translator shown: Ovid
What happens:
When I try to save results from the Ovid search results page using the Zotero Connector, Zotero shows “An error occurred while saving this item.”
Debug findings:
The Connector successfully connects to local Zotero.
The Ovid translator starts normally and selects records server-side.
In a fresh Ovid session, the debug log shows:
Selected before: 0
Selected for export: 10
However, the final Ovid export request returns an HTML page titled “Ovid: Export Results” instead of bibliographic data. The page contains:
“Ovid Application Error”
“No results were selected. You must select results before choosing this Export Citation action.”
Then OVID Tagged import fails with:
TypeError: line.replace is not a function
at doImport (OVID Tagged:172:15)
The Ovid page in the response reports:
Ovid_CompleteVersionNumber: OvidUI_05.17.03.002
