Upgrade StorageFeature request: Static position of “My Library” / pinned folders
The tree structure of my Zotero library is quite massive. With all levels expanded, there are probably over 200 folders. One of the most common actions I need to perform is to select the top level (“My Library”) in order to search within the full set of data. When working somewhere down the stack, this means having to scroll a fair distance to make that one click. I most often then need to return to precisely the folder I just scrolled away from, for example to drag a new item into it.
I find myself caught in this type of loop dozens of times (if not many more) in a single day.
I wonder if the “My Library” level could not be made to float statically at the top of the list at all times? An even better option would be to enable any folder to be pinned or starred, such that it remains statically visible in the list.
This would be a huge quality-of-life improvement for me and probably many others. It would be great if you would consider something of the like. Thanks!
