Zotero won’t launch on Windows even after clean reinstall

I am having an issue where Zotero won’t open on my Windows system. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version, tried launching from both the desktop shortcut and the zotero.exe file, and even ran it as administrator, but nothing happens, no window or error message appears. It seems to fail silently. Has anyone experienced this or can suggest what might be causing it?

    1) Restart your computer.

    2) If that doesn't help, delete C:\Program Files\Zotero and C:\Program Files (x86)\Zotero if they exist. Your data won't be affected.

    3) Restart again and reinstall from the download page.

    (Don't try to run it as an administrator. That just causes more problems.)

    If it still doesn't work, is this an institutional computer? Are you running any non-standard security software? If so, check its logs.

    Yes, its institute computer and they installed Alertus Desktop software recently.
