Missing a large chunk of my library after changing my computer

My work laptop died suddenly and I have just started using the replacement. I have installed Zotero again and it has finished synchronizing. Still I am missing many (i.e., thousands) references. Anyone has any idea what I can do?

    You have items uploaded regularly through March 13 of this year. If you're missing items since then, it's possible you were getting some sort of sync error after that and items weren't uploaded.
