Hierarchy of tags

Hello all,

I have developed a public database on documenting available mitigation measures in boreal peatlands and wetlands (https://www.birchbarkenvir.com/wetland-mitigation-bibliography). I have set up multiple tags, and Zotero shows them alphabetically. But in reality, they exist in a hierarchy.

For instance, one of my categories lists the documents by ecological stressor type. But each ecological stressor has a subset of stressors (tags), and sometimes a second subset of tags. See:

I have a series of other principal categories, each which have a hierarchical structure.

I would like a user to be able to search a hierarchy of tags, in a similar way that you select the 'filters' in any online shipping site. This would allow easy searching and insghtful queries of our current knowledge on how to mitigate our impacts on these ecosystems.

I first want to know if there exists a Zotero add-on that would allow a hierarchical structure of tags instead of the current alphabetical listing of tags.

If not, would it be possible and how difficult would it be to produce this hierarchy of tags in Zotero?

Your thoughts would be a great help.
