word plug in question

Hello, I am trying to use zotero on word for mac. no matter what I do, it inserts a macro instead of the full text of the endnote. I've followed a lot of suggestions from various forums, but it's the same problem. so I'm hoping someone has a suggestion. it's the latest version of word and I downloaded zotero today. (I had used it some years ago and remember encountering the same problem then).

Could you provide a Debug ID from Zotero for inserting a citation that is causing problems? Could you also take a screenshot of what the inserted citation looks like and post it here? What citation style are you using?

I successfuly add citation to zotero app. but when I try to use the citation in mac word, it looks like this:

But if you just mean you're seeing "ADDIN ZOTERO_ITEM CSL_CITATION" in the document, see Word field codes.
