Upgrade StorageZotero shuts down a linked document

Zotero keeps shutting down a document that I am working on. I have tried deleting individual citations and cannot find a single bad citation. It even shuts down with as little as 7 citations. I can't upload the document since it's proprietary information, but I need to talk to a real person to troubleshoot this.
