Not synching properly windows to boox noteair 5c or macbook air

I have tried to link my zotero from my windows computer to my macbook air and boox noteair 5c (most important).
Although the library collections and the paper can be seen I cannot view or read some of the papers. This is especially true for the more recent ones which I want to read right now.

For the Boox, the pdf paper icon attempts to load very briefly and then switches from a '?' icon to a red '!' icon.

For the same file on the macbook i get the attached error message.

The files can be opened and read in the parent computers zotero library. I have bought 2gb online storage which has lots of space. I have made sure all the computers are linked to the same account with updated passwords.

I am using the integrated zotero app on the boox.

I have 353 lines on the debuging output (Boox)

Does anyone know what might be causing the disconnect or how i can fix it??
