[Accessibility feature request] Unbarred increase in font size for EPUB in iPad
Dear Zotero Team,
Absolutely love Zotero and how it works on the MacOS and Windows versions, it works as the sole application for research. Being a person with low vision, it often becomes difficult for me to read PDFs leading me to prefer EPUB files instead, which work great on the above-mentioned devices given their features: color themes (helps with blurry sight), unlimited increase in font sizes, managing the width of the text (which helps while using a screen magnifier) and the ability to scroll through the text in an EPUB, akin to a webpage. In its current state, the EPUB functionality on iPad has just one of these features: the dark mode.
Of course porting all these functionalities into the iPad version might be a big ask, but it would be of immense help to me (but also the wider community with low vision) to have an option to increase the font size on an EPUB file as much as possible. In its current stage, the font size goes up to ~18-22 font size at most after which you cannot further increase it by pinching out, which is still too small a size to read for a person with an impediment like mine. Additionally, if easy to implement, of the above features, having a high contrast dark theme (#000000 and #ffffff) available on the iPad would also be amazing since the current version has a tinge of blue making readability harder for my specific issue.
I did try to find if there were a similar post regarding this on the forum, but was not able to find one. Thanks in advance for giving this a look!

dstillman Zotero Teamedited 3 days agoSure, we can increase the maximum font size. You can use Split View or windowed mode in iOS 26 to get a narrower viewport, if that helps.
