Suddenly I am incompatable??? 529414492

Help!!! I have one more assignment left and this thing is telling me I am suddenly incompatible with Zotero and Mozilla. What do I do? I have tried updating everything with no luck.
  • "This version of the Zotero word processor plugin (1.0b3) is incompatible with the currently installed version of the Zotero Firefox extension (2.0.3). Please ensure you are using the latest versions of both components."

Sorry, this is the response I get every time I attempt to use Zotero. What should I do?

I appear to be having the same problem.

I am using Word 2003, Zotero 2.0.3 and the latest WinWord plugin.

I have gone through the incompatible plugin web page both manually deleting and removing any trace within the Templates options in Word. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the WinWord plugin all the no avail as I still get the same error message.

Does anyone have a clue as to how to resolve this problem? All the pages I find suggest what I have tried, but none seem to go any further.
  • i.e. your error message starts with ""This version of the Zotero word processor plugin (1.0b3)"?

Close Word. Un-install all plugin versions currently installed. Search for "Zotero.dot" on your computer, making sure to include hidden files and folders in the search. Delete all copies of Zotero.dot. Re-install the most recent version of the plugin.
  • I have now uninstalled Zotero word processor plugin, made sure all copies of Zotero.dot had been removed, checked in Word that it had gone and now reinstalled the plugin and reinstated the template file and I still get the same problem.

Somewhere Word does not believe that I have upgraded the plugin, but I am at a lose to know where to go to remove a reference to an old plugin that as far as I can see is not installed.

made sure all copies of Zotero.dot had been removed
    that includes searching for it?
    reinstated the template file
    as in here?
Are you sure that's even necessary?
What is the exact error message you get?

Appears that I must have modified the Normal.dot template file long ago when trying to get Zotero working first time round to include the Zotero.dot information. Since I have not had to insert citations since a recent upgrade to Zotero 2 the problem would have passed unnoticed until then.

    Sorted now.

    Thanks for your help.
