Citation dialog doesn't appear after clicking Add/Edit Citation

I am using the Zotero Connector on Chrome, Windows. Nothing happens when I click any of the options that occur after clicking the Zotero extension icon in Google Documents. I have the Zotero app open all the time. It is the same for Edge. What should I do?

    Restart Zotero and try again.

    Stil doesn't work. I also tried restarting the laptop.

    Restart Zotero, refresh the Google Docs page and provide a Debug ID from Zotero for an attempt to add a citation.

    It started working when I changed the Google profile from my school's account to a private one. I think it hindered Zotero connecting to Google Docs.
