Upgrade StorageAndroid app on Boox ereader device - expected behaviour to bring up menu and page selection
While I know the Boox ereaders are not the primary focus for development of the Android app and may present some issues in compatibility, I have been struggling a little with a couple of functions on there and wanted to ask if someone could explain the expected behaviour on the Android app in two regards.
When viewing a PDF, the menu will disappear from the screen after a single tap, which I understand is expected behaviour. Usually, it is possible to recall it by tapping on the screen again, but sometimes it isn't. When the tap doesn't work, it isn't clear how to recall it. This also applies for the page select carousel. Is there another means by which the menu and page selection carousel can be recalled? Or is there a reason why it wouldn't be working to recall the menu/page select carousel back into view with a single tap?
I assume the issue is with app functionality being impacted by the Boox device, but it would be helpful to know if I should expect to be able to recall each of these elements back into view by a method other than a single tap so I can try to figure out how to do so on the device.
