My word keeps closing

I use the Zotero plugin for Word, and when I add citations, Word suddenly closes after I try to insert another citation. It’s not tied to a specific reference—the crash happens with several different ones. I’ve followed all the troubleshooting instructions, but the problem persists. It seems to occur when I try to add a citation inside a table, although I already have many citations inside tables without issues.

    What Word version?

    If it doesn't happen in a new document, you'll need to follow the troubleshooting steps, and specifically the last step, to isolate the problem.
