Upgrade Storage[Android] Scroll Direction setting not saving — Kindle Fire 10, Fire OS 8.3.3.8
Hi all,
I'm running the Zotero Android app on a Kindle Fire 10 (Fire OS 8.3.3.8) and having an issue with the scroll direction setting not saving.
When I open a PDF and go into the Appearance settings, I change the Scroll Direction to vertical, exit the menu, but the setting does not apply. When I go back into the Appearance menu, it shows the setting has reverted to its previous state as if I never changed it.
I have already tried force stopping the app and rebooting the tablet with no change in behaviour.
A couple of notes that may be relevant: the Kindle Fire runs a forked version of Android, and Google Play Services was sideloaded rather than native — I'm not sure if either of those factors could affect settings persistence.
Has anyone else encountered this? Any workarounds appreciated.
