Dear Zotero Support Team,
I am reporting a recurring freeze issue in Zotero 8.0.4.
When I click the arrow button next to a URL field in a thesis/dissertation item, Zotero freezes immediately, and the only way to recover is via a forced quit. Upon restarting, I encounter a "Zotero is already running" dialog. I must click the button to shut down the previous instance and then launch the application a second time to regain access. However, the same freeze occurs every time I attempt to use the URL redirect button.
My system environment is as follows:
- Zotero Version: 8.0.4
- Browser: Chrome (latest version)
- OS: Windows 11 Pro 25H2 (fully updated)
- Debug ID: D696780230
