Prevent the Capture of Proxy Information

I am familiar with the proxy settings documentation for the Connector (https://www.zotero.org/support/connector_preferences), but is there a way to prevent Zotero from capturing proxy info in the saved URL? The documentation suggests that the setting adds the proxy info to sites added. However, I typically access databases via my proxy, but do not want the proxy info in the metadata.

Instead of:
https://www-jstor-org.ezproxy.my.school.edu/stable/41388926
this:
https://www.jstor.org/stable/41388926

Sometimes it captures the proxy information and sometimes it doesn't and I do not understand why?

What am I missing? Thank you for your patience.

It should never be saved. Do you have an example where it currently does get saved?

Interestingly, some of the ones with the proxy info embedded are saved as webpages rather than articles.

This is going to be hard to figure out without a current example that you can reproduce. It's possible that depoxifying doesn't work when saving as a webpage with snapshot, but that wouldn't have appeared to be the case for the other screenshot you posted

I am not purposefully saving as a webpage. This is a jstor item, so it should be saved as an article. I will let you know the next time I notice this. Thanks.
