eBook metadata only saves in the pdf of the book- EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS)

When searching for eBooks via EDS, Zotero no longer takes metadata from the 'descriptive' page of the eBook, you have to go into the actual pdf of the book. Consequently, Zotero also saves the entire pdf, taking up storage. Previously you searched EDS, click on the title of the book in the list of results, and then press Zotero to take the metadata. Now, when you press icon on just the descriptive page, it opens the Zotero folders and freezes, and when you go back to your entire list of EDS search results, it remains frozen on the page. It will only disappear if you find another eBook, go into the pdf of it and save the metadata from there, adding multiple steps to the process, and also as mentioned saving the entire eBook to Zotero.
