Upgrade StorageFeature Request: Researcher & Labs primitives + Repeating Conferences
I would love a feature where Zotero could help me stay up-to-date with recent research (moving particularly fast in the ML space). These days it's important to keep up with Twitter/X and other social media feeds if you want to know what's happening. However, it's quite difficult to manage news feeds, Twitter Lists, etc. across multiple platforms.
Specifically, I propose the following features: a "Researchers & Labs" library next to the publication library, with supporting primitives to track specific researchers and their track records in specific research labs / institutions / companies. A "Researcher" entry would have fields to their social media pages, personal websites, tenures (dated) at specific institutions, etc.
Other useful features:
- conferences as an entity / primitive, with links to yearly editions (could link hashtags like #CoRL2025, yearly conference pages, etc.
- news feeds support (e.g. Twitter lists, RSS feeds, ...)
My ideal scenario and workflow: go to a lab or researcher, get an immediate overview of all their publications, posts across social media and personal blogs, since date X (save last time I checked).
