Upgrade StorageRectangle selection tool missing
On the iOS app, what happened to the rectangle selection tool?
This tool is essential for anyone who uses the app to take notes while reading papers. It allows you to move some portion of a handwritten note in order to make room for new notes.
I know that there is the weird tool that draws a colored box, that for some reason is called a selection tool now, and I know that you can tap on an annotation to select the entire annotation. Neither of these are useful to someone who is actually handwriting notes in the margins of a paper. Neither of these can select a portion of a handwritten annotation and move it to make room for more notes.
This seems to be a major regression and oversight. I have seen that discuss discussed in some other threads, but the people responding don’t seem to understand what the issue is. I am attempting to clarify here.
