Dear Zotero Development Team,
I am writing to report a potential bug in the Tag Splitter functionality found in Zotero 8.0.4.
It appears that when a tag contains a closing parenthesis immediately followed by a comma, the Tag Splitter window fails to trigger.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select an item and attempt to add or edit tags.
2. Enter the following tags (copy and paste the line below):
Slipped Capital Femoral Epiphysis(SCFE), Exercise Rehabilitation
3. Observe that the Tag Splitter window does not appear as expected.

I appreciate the fix for Korean-related issues in 8.0.4. Following that, I'm reporting this new case for further improvement.
Further Observations:
- I have tested this by removing the trailing period, but the issue persists, suggesting that the period is not the cause.
- The issue seems specifically linked to the closing parenthesis ")" being positioned directly before the comma separator.
Environment:
- Zotero Version: 8.0.4
- OS: Windows 11 25H2 (The issue is also suspected to occur on macOS)

Feature Suggestion:
Additionally, I noticed that the current Tag Splitter window only allows checking or unchecking tags. It would be extremely helpful if we could also edit the tag text directly within the Tag Splitter window before confirming. This would greatly improve the workflow for cleaning up imported metadata.
