Exported EPUB annotations/notes do not include page numbers PDF do

Perhaps I am missing the obvious, but when I export annotations from PDFs they include page numbers, either PDF or actual book page number (page or pageLabel). When I export EPUB even when the annotation shows the page number it is not included. Is this by design since many do not have publisher provided page numbers?

I would like the ability to include the page number when provided if available in the EPUB.

Is this possible already and I am missing it.
