Upgrade Storage[New Plugin] APA 7th Edition – UOC Adaptation (full names in brackets)
Hi everyone,
I've created a Zotero 7 plugin that adapts APA 7th edition citations to the format
required by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) Library.
**What it does:**
- Adds the author's full first name in brackets after initials: `Surname, I. [FirstName]`
- Uses "y" instead of "&" before the last author
- Adds a period after the closing bracket before the year
**Example:**
Standard APA 7:
Redolar Ripoll, D. E. (2023). Neurociencia cognitiva. Editorial Médica Panamericana.
With this plugin:
Redolar Ripoll, D. E. [Diego Emilia]. (2023). Neurociencia cognitiva. Editorial Médica Panamericana.
**Download & installation:**

Just download the .xpi and install it via Tools → Add-ons → gear icon → Install Add-on From File.
The plugin includes a custom CSL style and a bootstrap script that injects full names
from your Zotero data. It only affects bibliographies generated with the "APA 7th edition – UOC"
style — it won't interfere with other styles.
