Component error when syncing

I assume it has to do with syncing. See this error next to the sync icon (top right) when starting up Zotero.

"Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsICryptoHash.updateFromStream]"

Was having some performance issues so blew away my zotero.sqlite and resynced (resunc?) it. Right after the sync had completed, I go the above error.
