Bug: Split tag function removes previous written parts and other issues
I want to specify the next tag:
gene:PCYT1A, phosphate cytidylyltransferase 1A, choline
In order to write it, I copy "phosphate cytidylyltransferase 1A, choline", I write "gene: PCYT1A, ", and I paste "phosphate cytidylyltransferase 1A, choline".
Then, Split tag function detects the comma ",", I tell it "Don't split" and then the resulting tag is
"phosphate cytidylyltransferase 1A, choline"
without the first part I had previously specified.

iagogvedited today at 12:40pmA variant of this issue is that if I want to copy and paste a tag with commas in order to update it (like a duplicate tag function), when I tell Don't split, as Zotero detect it already exists (the item is tagged with it), it paste and remove automatically, not giving the chance to edit it. iagogvedited today at 12:47pmLet me link these bugs with my previous question https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/129683/how-to-configure-split-tags-default-character, since not having the chance to configure a default split character or even a default for the function pop-up (for example, default to not pop-up and just paste to tag as it is in clipboard) is another issue.
