The last week I started seeing a similar problem. Currently I have to kill the process to open it again after closing it in the same session. Also encountering problems using the http citing interface to Obsidian: No data is read from Obsidian

I believe Better BibTeX has been interfering with proper closing of the app, but it might be fixed in the latest version.
