Upgrade StorageBetter Notes: Annotations exported without page numbers — how to fix template?
Hello,
I’m using the Better Notes plugin in Zotero (latest version of Zotero and plugins). When I create a note from annotations (from one or multiple PDFs), the extracted notes are created without page numbers. However, the page information is correctly present in the original annotations inside the PDF reader.
I assume this is related to the Better Notes template, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to configure it properly.
What I would like to achieve:
* Export the annotation text without quotation marks
* Include the page number for each annotation
Additional context:
* Zotfile is not an option for me, since it only supports Zotero up to version 5.
* All Zotero plugins are updated.
* I also tried downgrading Zotero to version 7, but I received a message that it was not compatible with Better Notes.
Could someone please advise:
1. Which template variables should be used to include page numbers?
2. How to output annotation text without quotation marks?
3. Or share an example of a working template for this case?
