Style update request: International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (IJOMS)
Hi all,
I’m using the Zotero CSL style “International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery”:
http://www.zotero.org/styles/international-journal-of-oral-and-maxillofacial-surgery
The journal’s current author instructions for the reference list specify formatting that differs from the current CSL output. The CSL also appears to be quite old (last update Oct. 1, 2016). Could the IJOMS style be updated to match the current “References” guidance?
Style guide / instructions for authors:
https://www.ijoms.com/content/authorinfo (see “References”)
Key differences I’m seeing vs the current CSL output:
1) The IJOMS guide states that each reference must include the names of all authors (i.e., no “et al.” truncation in the bibliography).
2) Journal article format in the guide is: Journal Abbrev Year: Volume: Page range. (No issue number; colons with spaces, and no bold characters)
3) If a DOI exists, the guide shows it appended as: “. doi: 10.xxxx/xxxxx” (lowercase “doi:”).
4) Book chapter format in the guide is: Author. Chapter title. In: Editor(s), ed.: Book title. Place: Publisher, Year: Page range. (No “p.” prefix.)
Required formatted examples:
1) Journal article:
Campbell JL, Pedersen OK. The varieties of capitalism and hybrid success: Denmark in the global economy. Comp Polit Stud 2007: 40: 307-332. doi: 10.1177/0010414006286542
2) Book chapter:
Mares I. Firms and the welfare state: when, why, and how does social policy matter to employers? In: Hall PA, Soskice D, ed.: Varieties of Capitalism: The Institutional Foundations of Comparative Advantage. Oxford: Oxford University Press, 2001: 184-212.
Thanks for your help!

Guidelines are very often not updated. While there was some discrepancies, the style pretty much matched recent papers. I've made some changes, but as a whole the style doesn't match their guidelines anymore. Please, write to their editorial team pointing this out.
