pdf viewer: mouse back/forward buttons don't work on Linux/Fedora

Hello! The implementation of the back/forward mouse buttons in the pdf viewer has been discussed in this forum and the github issue zotero/zotero#3436 has been closed as completed. However, on my setup, it still doesn't work. I usually use the flatpak version but have also tried the official tarball 2 weeks ago (flathub/org.zotero.Zotero#311). The mouse buttons work in Firefox but not in Zotero.

Any help would be appreciated.
