New item type for press releases?

Great software!

I have to reference a lot of press releases. Is there already a good approximation of that kind of source or would it be necessary to create a new type?

  • why can't you simply use the item type "document", and if needed you put before or after the title or any other field "press release"? I do not think there are style sheets that have special rules for citing press releases and as far as I am aware, press releases do not contain any other special information.
    Also the developers have a, I think justified, policy of minimising the amount of item types.
