Upgrade StorageCitations in new document not being numbered in chronological order
I'm having an issue in a Word document in which all text is freshly typed (no copy-pasting), where I insert citations fresh but it follows the chronology of another document that was closed and saved and has not been reopened since. The two documents use different citation styles, but both are a number style citation (e.g. Vancouver).
I've tried to unlink the citations and add them fresh, I've also tried switching to a different citation style (which makes the sequence of numbers correct), but switching back to the citation style I need makes the problem come back. I've also tried creating a third document and just doing a test of typing the sentences and inserting the citations, but the problem carries over as well. My Zotero application is also updated to the latest version.
Any assistance with this is greatly appreciated!
