Upgrade StorageRSS Feeds vs Saved Searches: UI Inconsistency?
I am experiencing a confusing behavior in Zotero 8 regarding RSS feeds and Saved Searches.
As shown in the attached screenshot, when creating a Saved Search, all my RSS feeds appear in the dropdown menu under 'Search in library'. This strongly suggests that Zotero is capable of creating dynamic folders to filter feed items.
However, once the search is validated:
No items from the selected feed appear in the new dynamic folder.
The folder remains empty, whereas the same search performed manually (not saved) within the feed works perfectly.
My question is: If Saved Searches are not supported for RSS feeds, why are they listed in this specific dropdown menu? If they are supported, is there a specific step I am missing to make the dynamic folder functional?
This lack of consistency makes it difficult to distinguish between what is a bug and what is a technical limitation.
