Optional annotations in item list?

I like the idea of the annotations appearing under the parent attachment in theory, but I often expand all items in my library to check which ones are linked vs. stored or read notes I've left under parent items, and now when I expand all items it expands a million annotations and it makes it super difficult to scroll and do those things with so much visual clutter. Can you make a feature where pressing the + button only expands the first level of items (PDF link, notes) and then press it again if you want the annotations expanded, or something? I do appreciate this feature but it's made expanding all items completely unusable if you are a heavy annotate-er like I am.

    Yes, expanding one level at a time is a good idea. We'll change that.

    Will it be possible to apply a similar functionality to the Library left pane? To display collections (1st level) or collections and sub-collections (2nd level)
