Option for Manual Sort of Citations by User (for any style)?

Hello, are users now allowed to manually sort citations within a collection?
Regardless of citation style, is there any way to allow users to sort citations in collections by number using the desktop app? I want to manually sort the citations similar to how we can with title, author(s), publication, date added, etc.! This has nothing to do with sorting with Microsoft Word or anything else. This is specifically discussing having the option for users to manually sort their citations in the desktop app (or the website) only. I have attached a screenshot for reference.

If this is a current setting of which I am unaware, can someone please inform me? If this is not a current setting, can the staff/IT team consider implementing this? Please consider supporting user-defined manual ordering as an option. Thank you!

    Not possible, no.
    People do occasionally request it, but I don't know if it's planned 0-- it'd certainly be pretty hard to do in a non-confusing way. My sense would that people who really want to move items around in space use Zotero in combination with dedicated apps like Obsidian or Zettlr

    A usable workaround is to enter numbers in the License field of items. It’s available on every type and isn’t used in typical citations.
