cant find pdf reference when try to add them in word

i do see the refs I have added in the application but when i clicked on the add citation button in word I cant see them... what could be the problem

You can’t cite standalone attachments, which have no metadata. See https://www.zotero.org/support/adding_items_to_zotero#standalone_attachments_and_parent_items
