Upgrade StorageSorting by “Date Modified” ignores PDF annotations (iOS beta 2.0.4 build 417)
I’m trying to sort the items in my Zotero library by the date of modification (so that the most recently modified ones appear at the top, which helps me quickly find the current articles I’m reading).
But it seems that changes made to attachments – in particular, annotations made to attached PDFs – don’t seem to be taken into account in determining the modification date for that item.
Is this intentional or is it a bug? To me it seems like a bug, since if I’ve annotated a PDF I’m reading, to me that would imply that the record / item in which that PDF sits should be deemed to have been modified. Whereas currently the only changes that seem to alter the modification date are changes to the record itself but not to its attachments.
