Upgrade StoragePreprint ...... in old bibliography, why not updated?

Thank you first for the new update 8. I have a question or a suggestion from previous versions. When I add a DOI early after publications online ahead of pub, the vol & pg are not retrieved and write "preprint", why does this "preprint" not update itself later, when the source is final and published online? I have a prerint in citations of years ago. thank you
