prompt for Sync password in desktop Zotero
When I start the Zotero desktop app, it automatically logs in to my Sync account. I'd like to be prompted for the password and not have that password stored anywhere on the local device. In Advanced Preferences, when I search for "password" and "autologin" and "signon" there are a bunch of options that might do this, but it's not clear to me which, if any, would do this.
If you're wondering why I want this, I plan to leave kind of private things only on the Sync server and not download these secrets to any of my local devices. I know the server is not encrypted and I won't put any really secret things on it.
Thanks for any tips!

dstillman Zotero TeamThe password isn't stored on the local device, only an API key.

dstillman Zotero Teamedited 3 hours agoBut I'm not really sure what your use case here is. What do you mean by "not download these secrets to any of my local devices"? If you're set up for syncing, Zotero syncs all library data, and you'd have to unlink your account and have it delete local data if you don't want that stored locally. (Attachment files can be set to download as needed.)
