Problem with range in citation

I'm using Nature, a numerical citation style. In the first sentence of my paper I'm citing 4 references, and they come out right, as a range, in my citation: "1-4". But then I cite 32 different references, and the citation comes out very strange: "5-11,11-17,17-36", instead of the expected "5-36". Is there a reason for this, and how can I solve this problem?
Thank you,
Mark
  • Never mind, I found the problem: I cited two of the references twice, that's what was causing the breaks in the numerical range.
