Retraction watch dont work in Zotero 8 beta

However, I don't receive a retraction flag in Zotero, so I manually add "retraction" in the title.

    It works. That item just isn't (yet?) included in Crossref's retractions dataset, despite the entry appearing in the Retraction Watch database search and despite the Crossref API showing the retraction info. We'll report this to them.

    OK, we heard back from Retraction Watch / Crossref. Apparently entries can appear in the RW database search before they've been fully reviewed, and until they are, they won't be included in Crossref's retractions dataset to avoid propagating errors. That just hasn't yet happened for this entry.
  • Thank you! I received the flag in Zotero. At first I thought Zotero’s Retraction Watch feature wasn’t working properly. Now I’m sure it does work. Your reply also helped me understand some details behind Zotero’s alert feature.
